Whatever happen to equal rights for everyone. Just because a law was made does not make it a good or right law. Perfect example is the "Stand your Ground Law." What if way back instead of saying same sex couldn't get married they say fornication is against the law. Or how about adultery was against the law? People tend to always want to say what someone else can't do in their life. How about people let everybody live their own life and do what they want and Mind your business. And if you so christian you wouldn't be judging someone else because God is our judge and when did God become you?

The story stated the mother couldn't be reached. What it doesn't tell is how many times has this child had these "tantrums?" How many other times have her parents been called? IMO there is a lot more to this story!
If this had been my child, I would not have called the news media, she would have been told, next time she could sit in jail! Sometimes we have to use tough love and nothing wrong with using "scared straight" to put an end to such behavior. To me, calling the media sent a message to the child that she got away with that behavior.
As for her parents being afraid this will stay on her record; not as long as she stays out of trouble, it will be sealed when she turns 18. It's your responsibility as a parent to be a parent.

I am so sorry about the lost of of Mrs. Houston. She will be greatly missed. I listen to her music everyday, before and after her death. Sometimes , I cry, and sometimes i don't. I just look up to the sky, and say Girlfriend, I Got You.She had a voice was just hers, and her style was grand to the upmost. Her daugther has a lot of Brothers and Sisters with her now. I lost my mother years ago, and I was an only child aswell. the pain never goes away, you have learn, how to deal with it in you own way.
